Treatment Services

We offer a variety of treatment services to accommodate the individual needs of each client seeking treatment. Depending on the level of care you need and where you are in your recovery journey, we will customize your treatment plan to address all areas where you need and want support.

A major part of our treatment services involve both group therapy and individual therapy. Group therapy and individual therapy provide different approaches toward healing, and give you different tools for managing your recovery.

Holistic Treatments

We offer several different holistic treatment experiences that help you become in-tune with your inner self and heal the spirit through self-awareness and relaxation. These treatments are not in place of traditional treatments, but have proven to be effective supplementary treatments within our program.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is about becoming acutely aware of your surroundings and being present in the moment. While addiction can often be about avoidance, mindfulness requires you to face your environment head-on and to accept experiences and emotions so you can properly deal with them. Though this may sound unpleasant, mindfulness ultimately allows you to relax and feel at peace.

Each stressor becomes manageable when you are able to tune in to how you are feeling and take a moment to relax your body and clear your mind. Relaxing with intentionality prevents stress from building up and allows you to face situations head-on with strength and clarity. You will learn how to be compassionate toward yourself and reduce anxiety and depression.

Yoga Therapy

Yoga has been used for centuries in the East as a way to connect your mind, body, and spirit through physical poses.

Modern yoga has many benefits for those recovering from addiction, as it has a restorative effect on physical, mental, and emotional health.

Yoga can also increase sleep quality, improve appetite, and raise energy levels, combating withdrawal symptoms some recovering addicts may be facing.

Additionally, yoga helps improve self-esteem and your overall feeling of wellness and health.

Reiki

Reiki therapy is an Eastern medicine which is based on the belief that energy flows through the body.

A Reiki practitioner will use gentle touch, or will place their hands just above the body – with the intention of guiding energy to promote healing, and balance.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture works by using thin needles placed in specific points on the body to stimulate a healing response. Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese treatment that is used in modern times to alleviate pain, nausea, increase blood flow to specific organs, and more.

Some studies have shown significant benefits of acupuncture to those recovering from addiction, especially for those experiencing withdrawal symptoms and cravings. This is due to the pain-relieving and stress-reducing qualities that acupuncture treatment provides.
